New Things Are on the Horizon

An exciting time is brewing at Wheel Truth Media. Kind of like when good tea or coffee takes a little time to fully brew, I've learned that it takes time for any healthy ministry to adjust and make sure they are making a real difference. That's why you probably noticed we haven't produced any content for a few months. Nothing is wrong with my health, at least right now, and we're not going anywhere.

When I struggled for five months to recover from a pressure sore last year, I was a little frustrated by the interruption to this ministry that I had poured so much time and effort into. Little did I know, God was putting the seed in my heart that would lead to changes in this ministry.

When I finally got fully recovered, I found it difficult to regain the consistency of our content because I realized this ministry was not making an impact like I had hoped. This doesn't mean that our ministry is a failure, far from it. We have seen gradual gains and successes, but not the growth I knew was possible. Now of course the impact of any ministry is up to God, but it is still our responsibility to ensure it is well positioned to grow.

For almost four years, we have been committed to proclaiming Biblical truth to help Christians. That hasn't changed, and it never will. However, as I met with board members and consulted with others to look ahead, through prayer and careful planning, we identified ways to better position ourselves for the future and to help us serve believers more intentionally.

We trust God in this new season and pray that he will be the one to firmly establish the steps of our ministry. As we take on the challenge of change, I'm reminded of Proverbs 16:9:

“The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.”

I thought the plans for this ministry were clear, but as we prayerfully considered the future, we realized that God was leading us in a different direction that we pray will reach even more people who need the hope of His word.

Over the next couple of months, you may begin noticing some changes in the type of content we produce. These changes won't be sudden or drastic, and we will continue to teach truth and hope rooted in the gospel. While we are not ready to share the full extent of our changes, rest assured that new videos and shorts are in the works. You might notice some updates in our strategy as we work toward a shift in ministry. Something new is coming and we're excited to speak more directly to those who feel overwhelmed by life or like they have been overlooked.

I look forward to what's ahead, and I'm excited to see how God will continue to use this ministry in the years to come! Stay tuned.
